The relationship between nursing students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence and their creative personality traits
This study explored the relationship between nursing students' attitudes toward artificial intelligence (AI) and their creative personality traits. Using a descriptive and relational methodology, data were collected from 492 nursing students in Turkey. The study utilized a 'Personal Information Form,' the 'General Attitude Scale toward Artificial Intelligence,' and the 'Creative Personality Traits Scale.' Findings revealed that the average attitude toward AI was 74.52 ± 10.29, and the average creative personality trait score was 67.20 ± 10.34, both above average. A strong positive correlation (p < 0.05) was found between these two factors, indicating that as creative personality traits increase, attitudes toward AI become more positive. The research emphasizes that fostering creativity is essential for effectively integrating AI into nursing practice and highlights the need for policy development for ethical AI use in healthcare.
